[1.267.1] — 2026-11-04

Fixed

  • Release-train repair (v1.267.0’s CI gates) — the PROJECT-CONTEXT test-count chain no longer breaks at the v1.267.0 head (the arrow format the eval grader matches), the QA prompts are re-organized (one live prompt per release, v1.266.0 archived), and per-file coverage is raised above the 98/90 ratchet: the applicantpro salary renderer loses an unreachable fallthrough (salaryRangeOf provably yields undefined, {min}, {max} or {min,max}) with the one-sided ≥/≤ branches now pinned through the fetch flow, and the board-response-cache suite pins the no-store bypass, the caller-supplied 304 against an unsaved board, and the MAX_ENTRIES eviction.
  • Tests: the live count is 7395 (the v1.266.0/1.267.0 wave suites carry more specs than the earlier notes tracked — the chain is re-pinned to the measured floor: 7392 after the wave, + 3 gate tests in this patch); coverage 98.51 line / 90.35 branch.

  • The v1.267.0 tag is left pointing at the red merge commit — not re-pointed (the server refuses re-pointed tags); v1.267.1 is the deploy vehicle.

[1.267.0] — 2026-11-04

Added

  • Four new scan sources — GermanTechJobs, Darwinbox, Keka, ApplicantPro/isolved (registry 125 → 129 = 124 EN + 5 RU · 124 adapters) — the second parent-sync wave against career-ops @ 7d8feb6d (87 upstream commits). GermanTechJobs (#6346): board-wide RSS at germantechjobs.de/rss (~626 items in one request); the employer is the last " @ " segment of the title — a title without one is dropped, never filed under the board; explicit provider: selection only. Darwinbox (#6416): zero-auth alljobs JSON behind <tenant>.darwinbox.in, the company id comes from the careers URL, paginated POST walk (50/page, max_pages 20/200) with the short-page stop read from the source’s own row count. Keka (#6199): two requests — a redirect:'manual' careers shell whose script names the feed UUID (an unknown tenant 302s to TenantNotFound.html and reads as a named 404), then the whole open inventory in one embed-jobs array. ApplicantPro / isolved (#6252): the numeric domainId off the bootstrap, then {success, data:{jobs, jobCount}}; jobCount > rows warns the list is incomplete; opt-in applicantpro: { fetchDetails: true } enriches from JSON-LD at 250 ms pacing.
  • ETag board-response reuse (#6105) — within one scan, a board response fetched in the last 15 minutes is reused as-is and older ones revalidate with If-None-Match (304 keeps the body); the cache key covers method + URL + credential headers + body, overlapping reads collapse onto the in-flight promise, and CAREER_OPS_HTTP_CACHE=0 / _TTL_MS override it. In-memory per scan run (web-ui has no on-disk cache contract) — a deviation recorded.

Fixed

  • Dates on four boards (#6274) — remoteok, remotive, workingnomads and IBM now emit a publication date, so the “Posted within” filter works there; remotive’s naive timestamp is UTC-normalized (its per-machine age bug was live), IBM’s _source actually requests dcdate.
  • A misspelled portals.yml key is rejected (#6107) — the EN scan now throws a named error (file + key + nearest-key suggestion, Levenshtein ≤ 2) before any fetch, instead of silently ignoring titel_filter:.
  • getro keeps walking past an old featured pin (#6406) — a pinned stale posting is still dropped but no longer terminates the pagination; the walk ends on a real short page.

Notes

  • Deliberately not done: the RU scanner’s seen-filter is not language-aware and its portals parse path does not run the misspelled-key gate (hand-offs recorded in the wave spec — no RU board emits per-language rows yet); remoteok keeps its offset-bearing date string rather than UTC-normalizing (its live shape is deterministic). Tests 7096 → 7243; Playwright 173 pass / 0 fail / 1 opt-in skip; registry 129 = 124 EN + 5 RU · 124 adapters (all count gates regenerated from the live registry).

[1.266.0] — 2026-11-01

Added

  • Personio language versions stop eating each other (CAR-223: parent #4789 + #5044 + #5285) — the deferred stack, executed as its own release. Scan-side (#4789): scan_history.dedup_include_language: true (strict opt-in — OFF is byte-identical) makes language versions of one posting survive the dedup via the seen-history variant machinery (languageFormsFromUrl / recordUrlVariant / isUnseenLanguageVersion); the canonical key strips language/lang/locale params. preferred_languages (#5285): orders a posting’s version rows preferred-first (stable, provider order on ties) — independent of the switch (OFF keeps the preferred version, ON keeps every version in that order), with a validatePreferredLanguages port of validate-portals. personio fan-out (#5044): the careers page is fetched without the ?language=en force (a tenant’s own ?language=xx is honoured) and emits one row per language version with language + ?language=<code> URLs; dedupIncludeLanguage adds per-language fetches (cap 5, paced); /xml and job-link fallbacks unchanged. recruitee gains the same language emission + preferred_languages (opts or entry). The shared helpers live in server/lib/language-preferences.mjs.

Notes

  • Hand-offs recorded, deliberately not done: the RU scanner’s seen-filter is not language-aware and no RU board emits per-language rows yet; the client url-key.js mirror and the portals-route validation wiring stay open. Tests 7096 → 7203; registry unchanged 125 = 120 EN + 5 RU · 120 adapters.

[1.265.0] — 2026-11-01

Added

  • Two new scan sources — Apple and Bulldogjob (registry 123 → 125 = 120 EN + 5 RU · 120 adapters) — the parent-sync wave against career-ops @ fe857ecf. Apple (jobs.apple.com, #5496 + #6196): the careers site is a React Router SSR app with no usable JSON API, so the source reads the ordinary search route’s hydration blob (window.__staticRouterHydrationData); discovery is entry-driven (apple.queries text axes with relevance sort + apple.teams slug axes, no defaults — an entry without either throws), pages are capped by max_pages (default 2, ceiling 50) with 200 ms pacing, every URL segment is surrogate-safe encoded, and a posting Apple labels PIPE carries a “may be a talent pipeline” hint in its snippet — nothing is filtered on it. Bulldogjob (bulldogjob.pl, #6253): the Polish tech board has no JSON API either — the listing pages ship __NEXT_DATA__ (50/page, totalCount); the entry’s careers_url is the site search the user built (filters live in the path), every request carries an explicit /page,N, and the walk stops on a short page, the reported total or max_pages (default 25, ceiling 100) with a truncation tag on partial boards.
  • IBM pagination rework (#6273) — the fixed 600-record walk becomes max_pages (default 20, cap 300, per-entry override) with 200 ms inter-page pacing and per-page retry through fetchJsonWithRetry (429/5xx/transport); a failed first page throws, a failed later page keeps the partials and names the page, and only a full page at the entry’s own cap warns “raise max_pages”.

Fixed

  • justjoin dates offers by lastPublishedAt (#6254) — the candidate API’s publishedAt moves forward every time an employer refreshes an offer, so most of the board carried today’s date and max_posting_age_days let weeks-old postings through; the earlier publication date wins now, falling back when missing or unparseable.
  • jobvite folds rows that share one posting URL (#6127) — a public feed returns one <job> row per city for a single detail URL; the parser used to keep the first city and let the scanner count the rest as duplicates. Siblings now contribute locations only, joined with · in feed order, first title/date kept, remote re-evaluated over the joined location.
  • Liveness: an UltiPro rung (#6090) — UKG has no per-posting JSON endpoint and answers 200 for closed postings, so all 57 closed UltiPro postings read uncertain. The detail page embeds the record: OpportunityIsClosed true/false → expired/active, the board’s “opportunity unavailable” notice → expired, anything else stays with the browser. Built In’s “Sorry, this job was removed” banner is hard-expired (#6336) — the page keeps its full JD and APPLY control; the banner wins now, while a sibling “Job removed” badge without “sorry” does not match.

Verified no-ports (parent delta scanned, web-ui already correct)

  • icims location-label prefix (#6130), workday fully-remote marker (#6143) and the Bulgarian Apply controls (#6192) were already present; smartrecruiters releasedDate (#6303) is already read; the Machine Summary as last report section (#6157) needs no parser change (machineSummaryBlock() is position-independent); liveness CLI flags (#6086) are parent-side; personio language-dedup (#4789) stays deferred — a 3-commit stack for a scanner capability most web-ui sources cannot express yet.

  • Deliberately not done: the parent-side scan.mjs location-compiler half of the jobvite fix (web-ui documents the USPS compiler as a no-port) and the parent’s note field for the Apple PIPE hint (web-ui’s job shape has no note; it rides in snippet). Tests 7096 → 7135 (+39); Playwright 173 pass / 0 fail / 1 opt-in skip; coverage gate ≥ 98/89; registry 125 = 120 EN + 5 RU · 120 adapters (all count gates regenerated from the live registry).

Fixed

  • Rate-limit hardening wave (review LOW №1–3 from REVIEW-2026-10-31-v1.264.1) — writeRateLimit() (express-rate-limit@7.5.1, 60 req/min route×IP, 429 JSON + Retry-After) now covers all 47 mutating endpoints (was 2): 9 mis-scoped llmRateLimit guards replaced (/api/config — the .env rewrite!, PUT /api/batch, /api/batch/merge, outcome, followup/seed, assessments, stats/snapshot, mock-interview/save, networking/save), 3 stacked before the LLM bucket on the expensive paths (/api/evaluate, /api/deep, /api/auto-pipeline), and 33 bare registrations wired (CV/profile/modes editors, all tracker writes, pipeline POST/restore/DELETE, jds, the 7 /api/run/* via one loop edit, posting-guard, Playwright-PDF inline, portals toggle/health/track, discover, reports, export/docx, two-pager, career-plan, memory and the three DELETE routes). /api/apply-helper stays allowlisted bare (pure local computation, pinned); 16 pure-LLM routes keep the conditional LLM bucket by design. A completeness tripwire (tests/rate-limit-coverage.test.mjs, red-first at 27 bare) fails CI on any future unthrottled mutating registration.
  • TRUST_PROXY opt-in + re-armed validations (review LOW №1–2) — app.set('trust proxy', N) honours a TRUST_PROXY env hop count (never boolean true — that would key on the attacker-controlled left XFF end); unset by default, so loopback keeps its documented socket-keyed per-route degeneration. validate: false becomes a targeted writeValidateConfig(): only xForwardedForHeader is opted out (Caddy’s XFF is ignored by design without trust proxy), every other validation — including trustProxy — is loud again, so a future trust proxy: true misconfiguration surfaces as ERR_ERL_PERMISSIVE_TRUST_PROXY instead of silence. The custom keyGenerator was removed deliberately: express-rate-limit ties its proxy validations to the default key generator, and per-route isolation is unchanged (one MemoryStore per factory call).
  • cvstart.org copy feedback reverts after 2 s (CAR-141) — the «Скопировано ✓» state now holds the acceptance-criterion 2 seconds (was 1.5 s), red-first pinned in tests/site-copy-feedback.test.mjs. This closes the last agent-fixable CAR-141 criterion; the demo-video refresh stays owner-deferred (decision 2026-11-01).

Changed

  • Help bundles say 19 languages (×19) — the §19 “Localizing the app” and §32 “Run it from OpenWorker” sentences no longer lag two locales behind: every bundle now says 19 with தமிழ் and Tiếng Việt in its own enumeration style (ar uses the spelled-out «التسع عشرة»), and vi.md §32’s own «cả-17» remnant is fixed too. Structure gates (33 H2 / 125+ H3) byte-stable.
  • State hygiene — AGENTS.md states v1.264.2 / 7082 tests (was v1.86.x / 1566); PLAN.md marks releases 1–7 Shipped and its ship-train paragraph says docs ×19; the StatsBar.astro comment now describes what facts.adapters actually holds (123 = sources total, historical key name kept for consumers); the i18n.js header says 19 languages; the v1.264.2 QA prompt carries the true coverage (98.45/90.05) and the Playwright arithmetic (176 = 174 harness + 1 opt-in skip + 2 script-level suites).

  • Deliberately not done: the parent-sync wave per the recorded port-list stays in BACKLOG — the fork must sync past upstream a9476866 first (7 of the 10 port-list commits are not in the local parent tree yet; IBM/UltiPro/Bulldogjob/apple scoped S–M, personio language-dedup deferred to its own release). CAR-141’s demo-video re-record is consciously deferred by the owner («видео не надо пока», 2026-11-01).

  • Sidebar group headers join the truncation contract (CAR-219) — group toggle labels (.nav-v2-toggle > span) now truncate with an ellipsis and carry a localized tooltip through the same syncLabelTitles() mechanism as the CAR-203 nav items; the chevron never shrinks, the toggle stays clickable, RTL holds. Red-first pin in tests/nav-v2.test.mjs (+1 → 7082 tests).

Changed

  • cvstart.org copy ships in all 19 languages (CAR-220) — meta.helpDesc, helpTeaser.c1.desc and faq.a2 are translated in every site locale (they were EN-only in v1.264.1 by design); GitHub Pages shipped the upgraded copy live on cvstart.org.
  • Backlog + review hygiene (CAR-221/222) — the six «port when merged upstream» items are closed: all seven upstream PRs are merged, four items were already ported, two are parent-side. docs/reviews/REVIEW-2026-10-31-v1.264.1.md lands (0 HIGH / 0 MED, three LOW follow-ups recorded in BACKLOG), and the parent-sync port-list is recorded (6 PORT / 3 VERIFY / the apple-source gap; upstream tail 118 commits @ VERSION 1.38.0).

Notes

  • The changelog mirror-stamp fix (92a05fcf) rides in this tag: every paginated mirror on cvstart.org now carries the generating release version, so the site-build-after-fanout grader finally exercises its real logic instead of skipping.
  • Deliberately not done: throttling the remaining mutating POSTs (review LOW №3) and the trust-proxy bucket coupling — recorded in BACKLOG for the next hardening wave. CAR-141 (demo video) remains the owner’s.

[1.264.1] — 2026-10-31

Fixed

  • Sidebar pills truncate long localized labels gracefully (CAR-203) — the nav label span is now a proper flex citizen (min-width: 0 + overflow: hidden + text-overflow: ellipsis + nowrap in v2-nav.css), and syncLabelTitles() in nav-v2.js mirrors the localized label into the tooltip through the same data-i18n key (zero new i18n keys) — the long «Профинансированные компании» is readable again on hover instead of being hard-clipped by the row’s overflow: hidden. The 44 px touch target, active paint and RTL mirror are untouched; red-first pin in tests/nav-v2.test.mjs.
  • One 480 s evaluation ceiling for every locale (CAR-218) — remote-QA v1.264.0 caught transient 502 · 300 s · 0 ch evaluations on es and zh-CN (the spot re-run passed, but the wall was real). EVAL_TIMEOUT_MS is now 480_000 and evalTimeoutMs(lang) returns it unconditionally — GEMINI_EVAL_TIMEOUT_MS and the auto-pipeline inherit. The locale-aware token budget from CAR-174 (16384 / 32768) stays the only per-locale split.

  • cvstart.org FAQ carries exact source counts (CAR-217) — {sources} job-board sources: {sourcesEn} international boards plus {sourcesRu} Russian ones substituted from facts.json, which is generated from the live registry (123 = 118 EN + 5 RU), so the numbers can never drift; locales still on the older ~{adapters} wording keep rounding via adaptersRounded. EN copy upgrades ride along (meta.helpDesc, helpTeaser.c1.desc, faq.a2 name the command menu, grouped pipeline with undo and the kanban tracker).

  • Deliberately not done: the site i18n copy upgrades (meta.helpDesc / helpTeaser.c1.desc / faq.a2) stay EN-only this release — other locales keep correct-but-rounder wording until the next docs wave (their faq.a7 gains the exact-count placeholders where translated). CAR-141 (demo video) remains the owner’s; the superseded car136/m141 branch was deleted with its ideas recorded on the Linear task (recoverable via tag archive/car136-m141).

[1.264.0] — 2026-10-31

Added

  • Inline tracker status edit — every #/tracker row’s status badge is a compact <select> of the canonical stages (from GET /api/tracker/stages, never a hardcoded whitelist). POST /api/tracker/status relays the parent’s canonical set-status.mjs under the applications.md lock (state whitelist via states.mjs, --dry-run/--note passthrough, fail-soft 502 with sanitized detail, argv-array spawn). Success updates the row in place (tone class + tab counts, focus kept); failure reverts and toasts. Rows the relay cannot address — a hand-edited unknown status, a backfill sentinel # — keep the read-only badge (route-review LOW fixes; reviewer: no HIGH/MED findings).
  • Server warnings surfaced on every AI page — evaluate, deep, auto-pipeline (page and modal), career-plan, market, cv-studio (humanize + tailor) now render the server’s warnings array (output-token truncation, language drift, date corrections) as a badge-warn band (role="status"); the auto-pipeline modal no longer drops the done-frame warnings. Fixed

  • Trudvsem scan source — an empty page (results: {}, also “past the end”) no longer kills the whole scan (clean zero rows); API error envelopes (HTTP-200 with status: 500) throw with the API’s own text; pagination walks record offsets (was page-index — pages silently duplicated, ~52 vacancies instead of hundreds); the walk stops before the API’s deep-offset failure zone (offset × limit ≥ 10000). Live end-to-end verified.
  • habr — titles/companies are tag-stripped after entity decoding (hh.mjs parity): &lt;script&gt; in a card title can no longer reach scan rows as live markup; legitimate >> in titles survives.
  • PUT /api/profile (raw path) — a candidate: block without a non-empty full_name is refused, same line as the fields-merge path (it used to persist full_name: null).
  • Hints truthfulness — .doc removed from the CV upload accept list and cv.uploadHint ×19 (the parser never supported it); config.openaiModelHint ×19 names gpt-5 (the server maps any *-codex id to it); config.anthropicModelHint ×19 and the Anthropic default now mirror the parent’s tiers — default claude-sonnet-5-5, premium claude-opus-5-5.
  • Claude Code docs link → code.claude.com (the old docs.anthropic.com/en/docs/claude-code URL TypeErrors in the links gate).
  • help ×19: the Row-density bullet is gone (the toggle left the UI in v1.263.0) and 18 broken **bold** span families repaired — plus the renderer-leak class fixed ×19 (second blank line after every table-before-paragraph; pipe glyph out of bold cells): 0 literal ** in render across all 19 help bundles.

Notes

  • The Anthropic default model changed to claude-sonnet-5-5 (the parent’s standard tier). Deploys that relied on the old silent default (claude-sonnet-4-6) upgrade automatically — pin ANTHROPIC_MODEL in .env to opt out.
  • Deliberately not done: the two LOW review nits left open by design (inline select does not mirror the kanban movesReady degradation — honest toast on every failure is the chosen behaviour; the code: 'timeout' branch stays covered by the fake-writer contract, not a >30 s test). CAR-141 (demo video) remains the owner’s.
  • help ×19 got the post-release prose pass (density bullet out, renderer-leak class fixed) on main after v1.263.0 shipped — this release is the first tag carrying it.
  • Also in this tag: the evidence-confidence chip plumbing (report parsers + view badges), the fix-report-links runner (POST /api/runners/report-links, Repair card on #/health), and the batch cost estimate/confirm with usage recording — landed on main between the branch cut and the tag.

[1.263.0] — 2026-10-30

Added

  • Motion polish layer — new motion.css (last app sheet): modal/popover entrances (scale .97 + fade, 130–180 ms), toast spring-in + soft leaving state, theme-toggle press spring, chip/tab press scale(.97), stagger infrastructure (50 ms steps, cap 12), .page-enter route-change fade (router), focus-halo transitions on chips/tabs. Every rule is prefers-reduced-motion-safe (movement drops to none, opacity/color stay).
  • Touch correctness — 68 hover-lift rules were unguarded: touch devices kept a stuck “lifted” card after a tap. All transform hovers are now @media (hover:hover)-gated (motion.css neutraliser), and the card lift applies only to genuinely interactive cards (.card:has(a), a.card, button.card, [role=button].card) — no more false affordance on static cards.
  • A11y: every control has a programmatic name. New A11yDump helper names all 16 readonly LLM-output dumps; 12 placeholder-only fields (CV Studio ×6, config ×2, scan search, tracker score select, outcome note, plan editor, auto URL, bug report) got aria-labels; the a11y-form-wires gate now enforces this class-wide (was 26 unnamed sites, now 0 + allowlist with documented reasons).

  • #/scan: the sticky table header no longer paints over the topbar search once scrolled under (z was equal to the topbar’s, later DOM won — now token-derived below it); the “Зарплата от/до” inputs are normal-sized again (a .v2-scan-bar .input flex rule leaked into the popover’s column flex and set flex-basis 200 px as HEIGHT — now >-scoped + popover guard); the density toggle button is removed by owner decision (plumbing kept, i18n keys removed ×19).
  • Deploy workflow hardening (F1–F6): provider input charset-validated before any shell splice; hermes diagnostics redact values (case-insensitive key filter + value mask + 80-char cut on all three sinks, ?token= masked too); hermes step respects inputs.app_dir; public_url https-gated; the anti-downgrade guard has 6 executable pins (no defaults, guard-before-Deploy order, strict refs regex).
  • Review tail, red-first: CSV-import backslash round-trip (re-import deduped again), cv-voice head-strip 4827 ms → 13 ms, statedYearsMin computed lazily, posting-guard capture TOCTOU, MiniMax CN wildcard, deel token skip, import picker size-guards before read.   • Visual sweep: tracker empty state is a full-width card (was clipped inside the 760 px table at 390); scan console line ellipsifies instead of half-clipping; the floating chat FAB no longer covers content at 390 (44 px target, inset 12); dashboard «Application statuses» empty state follows the v2-empty pattern; stats «?» hint gets a divider + 44 px target; career-plan Input tab explains where the result lands; help §1 markdown (18 broken bold spans).

  • Accent blue → crimson red (owner request, logo-coherent, hue 15) — 5 cv3 tokens × 3 theme blocks; docs-assistant chat bubble text rides --accent-ink (was literal #fff, 2.39:1 in dark); funded wash rides --accent-soft. Danger stays hue 25 with its own treatments.

  • Wave-review tail — 7 low-severity findings, each red-first. The CSV import backslash round-trip: a \ in a cell was written doubled and read back doubled, so re-importing the same CSV missed the company+role dedup and could create a duplicate row — the reader now unescapes \\ after the split (write→read round-trip is lossless, re-import dedups). The cv-voice <head> strip was quadratic on unclosed tags — 4827 ms → 13 ms on the 64 KB input the route caps at. statedYearsMin ran the full years-parser for every job of every source even when years_min was not configured — now lazy, the seconds of CPU per large scan are gone. A capture deleted between readdir and statSync crashed the posting-guard listing (TOCTOU — vanished files are skipped). The MiniMax CN default matched only api.minimax.cn exactly — any *.minimax.cn base URL now gets the CN model. Deel $-tokens that are not hex refs no longer leak into the snippet as literals. The import picker checks file.size BEFORE file.text() — the 512 KB server cap answered 413 only after the browser had parsed a possibly huge file — with a localized import.tooLarge toast ×19.
  • Deploy workflow hardening (workflows review F1–F6). provider was the only input interpolated into the remote shell without charset validation — a ' in the value broke out of the quoting and ran arbitrary code on prod; now whitelisted ^[A-Za-z0-9_-]+$ before any splice, and the key-guard grep can no longer false-pass. The hermes diagnostics step printed raw journalctl + unit dumps to the public log; its filter missed uppercase *_API_KEY= and masked nothing — now a shared case-insensitive redact + value masking + 80-char truncation on all three sinks, ?token= query strings masked too. The hermes step ignored inputs.app_dir and hardcoded /opt/career-ops/src/.env. public_url reached curl without an https check (option injection via a leading -). And the anti-downgrade guard — the v1.238.0 incident fix — had no executable gate: six new pins in ci-workflows (refs have no defaults, guard runs before Deploy, strict refs regex).
  • Import-modal tail (SPA review). The modal arms the same nav guard as the outcome modal — navigating away no longer leaves it orphaned on top of another view. The hidden file input is removed on cancel, not only on change — repeated dismissals no longer leak inputs into document.body. plan.duplicates is read through the guarded form in the preview. Tracker num allocation uses reduce instead of Math.max(...spread) — the spread hits the argument limit at ~100k rows.

[1.261.1] — 2026-10-28

The prod-QA client patch: a P1 crash fix for #/two-pager, Ctrl+K working on non-QWERTY layouts, the 390px mobile wave (docs-assistant overflow, map chip overlap, a 39-route harness), CAR-137 completion (specific errors, v2empty ×5, hints ×13 + mode pages) and CAR-140 landing real v2 screenshots everywhere.

Fixed

  • two-pager TDZ (CAR-170, P1, #554): Cannot access 'previewTimer' before initialization — the saved-tags editor fired onChange during construction for every restored chip while the construction loop sat lexically above let previewTimer, so the whole #/two-pager render crashed (no h1, ×19 locales). The scheduler + binding now live above the loop; a behavioral test executes the real view module — the exact prod error before the fix, a rendered page after — plus a lexical-order drift gate.
  • Ctrl+K on non-QWERTY layouts (CAR-172, #554): both chord handlers matched only e.key — on a Russian layout the chord arrives as key='л' code='KeyK' and did nothing. Matched by e.code === 'KeyK' in nav-v2.js and app.js; reproduced in a real browser with a synthetic ‘л’/KeyK chord. The CAR-122 contract is restated (see Notes).
  • docs-assistant 390px overflow (CAR-172, #554): the CAR-136 starter chips were .btn (nowrap, flex-shrink: 0) — one unbreakable 418px item pushed #/docs-assistant 56px past a 390px viewport; the CAR-146 shrink pattern (in v2-llm.css, the 800-LOC CSS gates untouched) brings it to 0.
  • Map chip overlap @390 (#552): on a 390px viewport the map meta chips overlapped the CTA row (map.css).

Every fix landed through a red→green fix-forward.

Fixed

  • Salary comparison normalization (CAR-143 rev-2): period markers are recognized only near the figure they belong to — «6 month contract, $120k» no longer annualizes ×12, and attached-only RU/ES period forms («за месяц» next to the number) win over incidental words; the $/¥ symbol family is recognized but unmapped unless an explicit ISO code shares the line (AUD/CA/SG dollars are no longer billed as USD, a ¥ RMB shape gets an explicit caveat instead of a ~20×-off JPY conversion); bare 19xx/20xx numbers are always years; range figures inherit the partner’s period; the profile’s minimum and target_range are never spliced into one range.
  • fixReportDate scoping (CAR-144 rev-2): the server-pinned date correction applies only to the preamble before the first ## heading (an H2-title report gets a conservative no-op — a stale date is acceptable, a fabricated one is not); within the preamble: a unique candidate is corrected, else a unique bold **Date:**, else nothing (two bold or two plain candidates rewrite none). The FIX-5 PDF-label gate now reads the real assembled dict — a missing locale throws instead of silently passing on an English fallback.
  • Habr location chip + geocode robustness (CAR-142 rev-2): a Habr meta chip becomes a city only with structural evidence (a city-filter link or a location icon) — relocation notices («Возможна релокация») and employment types never masquerade as locations; the geocode cache now survives a restart (flush on beforeExit/exit/SIGTERM+SIGINT with re-raise, the dirty flag cleared only after the write lands), shutdown is bounded (exit-loop latch, generation counter, recency LRU), and a spent geocode budget answers 503 + Retry-After instead of a generic 502.
  • Bundle cache-busting (CAR-145 r2+r3): the shell cites /js/bundle.js?v=<content-hash> — immutable-on-match, no-store-on-mismatch — killing the 5-minute deploy window where a fresh shell paired with a cached old bundle. The hash and the stream share one file descriptor (no torn reads); a short read answers null rather than a stat-fallback hash that could poison a whole deploy; make-bundle writes the identity and the .br/.gz companions via a dot-prefixed temp + rename, so a killed build can neither serve half-written bytes nor leak its temp file.
  • Deep overflow (CAR-146): a saved research brief whose filename alone exceeds a phone viewport can no longer push #/deep past 390px — the card caps at its row, the title wraps, the date stays on one line; the narrow-viewport sweep now walks #/deep with an over-long seeded fixture (the two remote-QA runs’ only finding, closed).
  • Pipeline v2 hardening (CAR-116 review): deletes confirm and undo (with honest undo copy), no host-company fabrication in cards, FNV-1a row ids, true bulk counts, and a re-entrancy guard on bulk operations.

  • Pipeline v2 (CAR-116): enriched cards, a grouped view, and bulk discard with undo; 17 new pipe.* keys shipped translated in all 19 dicts.

The second agent-fleet train, six fixes: report dates are server-pinned, the map geocoder caches and reads RU cities, help ×18 cites localized button labels, UI sentences stop mixing languages, salary comparisons are computed server-side — and the JS bundle ships precompressed (cold load 3.1 MB → 598 KB).

Fixed

  • Invented report dates (CAR-101): the evaluation prompt now pins today’s date server-side (“the Date: field MUST be exactly — copy verbatim; never invent”), and fixReportDate rewrites a drifted date to today at every acceptance site (Anthropic branch, Gemini subprocess, OpenAI-compatible tail, /api/deep, auto-pipeline) with a warning + activity record — a correction, never a rejection. 349/789 prod reports had invented dates; new ones can’t.
  • Map geocoding (CAR-105): hh.ru/Habr rows’ Cyrillic city strings now reach the geocoder; a persistent bounded cache (data/geocode-cache.json, withFileLock) means a resolved city never hits the provider twice; geocode calls are budgeted per request so the map fills progressively instead of blocking 13.9 s.
  • Mixed-language UI (CAR-108): 23 keyed leaks fixed across 17 of 19 dicts (85 values) — «все matching», «только remote», «Открыть Scan», the funnel «Evaluated → Applied…» and more became full localized sentences reusing each locale’s own product vocabulary. i18n-no-latin-leaks extended with the fragment table + funnel probe (red→green).
  • Currency verdict flip (CAR-109): salary comparison is computed server-side in comp-compare.mjs and embedded canonically (Candidate minimum: … per YEAR (raw: …) vs JD offer: …); monthly ×12, k/к/тыс/萬 and decimal-comma forms normalize before comparing; an uncertain conversion can never by itself flip the verdict (the zh-TW «€80–100k ниже минимума» case is dead). The model never multiplies.
  • Help ×18 button labels (CAR-107): localized help bundles cited English labels («⚡ Run live», «Save», «Scan now») the UI no longer shows — 263 replacements across 18 locales mapped from the view sources; the docs-assistant inherits the fix.

  • Precompressed bundle + cacheable cold load (CAR-104): make-bundle.mjs emits bundle.js.br (brotli q11) + .gz at release time; a bundle-scoped middleware negotiates br > gz with Vary: Accept-Encoding, public, max-age=300, must-revalidate + ETag/304; freshness-guarded (a companion never serves older than the identity bundle), direct artifact fetches 404, CSP byte-identical. Cold load: 3.1 MB → ~0.6 MB wire (−80%); repeat visits within 5 min transfer ≈0 bytes.

[1.258.0] — 2026-10-25

Six fixes from the agent fleet, one train: the #/scan company counter stops mixing universes, deep research demands sources, form errors light up the field, loading states get skeletons and an instant h1, and evaluations cache their 37k-token prompt prefix.

Fixed

  • #/scan «Active companies» counter (CAR-100): the numerator counted distinct companies across ALL result rows (1554 on prod — hh.ru alone contributes hundreds) while the denominator counted API-backed tracked companies (~90) — two universes in one fraction. Pairing (a): the numerator now counts companies among rows the API-backed tracked scan itself fetched (matched by _entry ?? company; hh.ru/telegram employer rows drop out); the pre-scan fallback moved into the same universe (it could read «104/90»).
  • Deep research fabrication (CAR-110): the deep prompt now carries a hard contract — every factual claim ends with [source: domain.com] (cannot name it → do not state it; inventing a marker is worse than writing “unknown”), unknown facts are written unknown, and the report MUST end with a ## Data freshness section. Freshness anchors: today’s UTC date + an optional company url on POST /api/deep (bounded, never fetched server-side).
  • Form errors highlight the field (CAR-130): a failed POST marks the first form field aria-invalid + .is-error and focuses it (WCAG 3.3.1); cleared on edit. The network-error hint is deployment-aware — loopback keeps the dev-command hint, a deployed origin gets «server is not responding» instead of bash web-ui/bin/start.md advice (the connection banner had the same hardcode).
  • Loading states (CAR-112): #/map and #/tracker render their h1 instantly (the router focus target existed only after data arrived) and a shared skeleton helper (Skeleton.rows, aria-hidden shimmer rows inside a role="status" region reusing common.loading) replaces bare «Loading…» text on tracker, scan results and the map shell; prefers-reduced-motion stops the pulse.
  • Evaluate prompt caching (CAR-111): buildEvaluationPromptParts splits the ~37k-token prompt into a byte-stable prefix (CV + profile + mode files + instructions) and the JD tail; the Anthropic path sends [prefix + cache_control: ephemeral] + [JD] — the prefix bills at the cache-read rate (≈10× cheaper) on every call after the first. Missing/mismatched prefix fails open to the byte-identical old request; the OpenAI-compatible cascade is untouched (server-side caching there).

Notes

  • All six fixes came from the agent fleet with red→green evidence (5 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 8 new cases) and review rounds; the first CAR-111 CodeQL alerts (#579/#580) were fixed in code — the test stub parses the URL host instead of substring matching, and a dead full-prompt string was dropped.
  • The score backfill ran on prod (v1.256.0 endpoint, owner-approved): updated: 22, missingReport: 0, reportScoreless: 159 — 159 scoreless rows point at reports whose headers predate the machine block or carry unparseable score formats; recoverable only by re-evaluation or a wider parser pass (noted in CAR-129).
  • Deliberately not done: no commute-column nulls-last change (pre-existing Infinity-on-desc quirk), no retroactive re-pricing of old usage records, no .is-error-style highlighting for the scan filter forms (CAR-130 scoped to the shared mode-page submit helper + api.js hint).
  • Tests 5749 (+36). No scanner sources touched (registry 121 = 116 EN + 5 RU · 116 adapters); no i18n keys (the CAR-130 hint reuses conn.down; the skeleton region reuses common.loading).

[1.257.0] — 2026-10-25

Two agent-fleet fixes: the in-app help assistant understands Devanagari and Tamil, and the usage page shows what Hermes actually costs.

Fixed

  • Help assistant retrieval for hi/ta (CAR-103): the docs-assistant keyword tokenizer’s word class was [\p{L}\p{N}\u30fc]+ — no combining marks. Every Devanagari matra (ा ै ्…) and Tamil vowel sign (ே ை ்…) cut a word into fragments; the length rule dropped short fragments (a Hindi query matched 0 sections) and longer words decapitated into garbage that collided with unrelated sections. The class keeps \p{M} now; the CJK bigram path is untouched. hi «मैं स्कैन कैसे चलाऊं?» and ta «ஸ்கேன் எப்படி இயக்குவது?» retrieve the right sections from the shipped bundles.
  • Usage cost for Hermes (CAR-106): normalizeUsage() collapsed provider usage to {in, out} and silently dropped the gateway-reported cost — #/usage showed $0.0000 over 9.5 M Hermes tokens (its pricing-table row is 0/0). The usage record shape gains an optional backward-compatible cost?; the aggregator prefers the provider-reported cost per record and falls back to the pricing-table estimate only when absent; garbage/negative values are dropped, never fabricated.

Notes

  • Both fixes came from the agent fleet with red→green evidence (3 + 5 new cases; 14/14 and 10/10 green; neighbors 78/78 and 61/61). The first PRs (#470/#471) carried a stale worktree base that conflicted with the squash-merged v1.256.0 — superseded by clean cherry-picks (#472/#473).
  • Deliberately not done: no retroactive re-pricing of historical data/llm-usage.jsonl lines (they carry no cost field; only new records benefit).
  • Tests 5713 (+8: docs-assistant ×3, usage ×5). No scanner sources touched (registry 121 = 116 EN + 5 RU · 116 adapters); no i18n keys.

[1.256.0] — 2026-10-25

Tracker data quality: the role is never filed as the company, a job board is never filed as the employer, unscored rows stop surfacing first — and a one-shot endpoint backfills missing scores from the reports themselves.

Added

  • Score backfill (CAR-129): POST /api/tracker/backfill-scores fills the Score cell of rows whose linked report carries a parseable score (181 evaluated rows had a report but no score). Scored rows, explicit sentinels (N/A), report-less rows and scoreless reports are never touched; only the Score cell is rewritten, under the file lock; the score shape is validated at the write site and normalized to the tracker’s X.X/5 convention; the run is idempotent and returns {ok, updated, missingReport, reportScoreless}.

Fixed

  • The role is never the company (CAR-128): guessCompanyRole treated the LEFT side of a dash header line as the company, but boards write both orders — «Senior Frontend Engineer - Grafana Labs» filed the role AS the company (13 rows: Grafana, CircleCI…). A word-bounded role-keyword heuristic now picks the role side, and an employment type never becomes the employer («Senior Engineer - Remote (EU)» files nothing rather than «Remote (EU)»).
  • A job board is never the employer (CAR-127): the domain-slug fallback filed hh.ru rows as «hh» (120 rows). hh/habr slugs join the not-an-employer list; the mid-sentence employer inference («в компании X», «X ищет») now runs for job-board hosts (hh.ru/kz/uz/by, habr.com) too — where the page text names the real employer. Root cause found on the way: the ASCII \b/\w in those inference patterns never matched Cyrillic at all — silently dead since v1.248.4; Unicode lookbehinds and \p{L} classes replace them.
  • Unscored rows sort last (CAR-129): the tracker’s score sort used a -1 sentinel, so with the default ascending sort every unscored row surfaced before every scored one. Nulls now sort last in both directions (the score FILTER keeps its -1 — “unscored fails a ≥4 filter” is correct semantics there).

Notes

  • Historical rows are NOT migrated by this release: the parser fixes apply to new evaluations; scores are recoverable via the backfill endpoint, while the 120 «hh» employer cells need re-evaluation, not a rewrite.
  • An opus-5-5 review round is folded in: the unanchored «X ищет» pattern was dropped before shipping (any capitalised run before the verb would have been filed as an employer — the no-fabrication invariant), sentence-initial «В…» anchors added, and the backfill writer re-checks the target cell (duplicate # rows exist after manual edits), keeps a hand-malformed short row’s column count, and stops at the first non-table line. The dot inside a dotted name («Сбер. IT») is indistinguishable from a sentence dot for the «в компании» anchor — the conservative prefix («Сбер») is filed; the verb-anchored pattern catches the full form.
  • Deliberately not done: no comparator extraction from tracker.js into a unit-testable lib (the source-static gate stays; noted in CAR-129 as follow-up), no commute-column nulls-last change (pre-existing Infinity-on-desc quirk), no data migration for the «hh» rows.
  • Tests 5705 (+10: 5 identity in auto-pipeline-jd-gate, 2 CAR-128, the CAR-129 sort gate, 4 backfill incl. the hostile-path pin — minus the replaced v1.248.x cases). No scanner sources touched (registry 121 = 116 EN + 5 RU · 116 adapters); no i18n keys.

[1.255.2] — 2026-10-24

Three user-visible fixes from the live regression and a prod crash report: the #/scan render crash, the blind Vietnamese language check, and a recurring zh-TW summary-block loss.

Fixed

  • #/scan crash (CAR-99): the count-gate regeneration since v1.253.0 wrote the FALLBACK_SOURCES literal with a trailing double comma on every entry — 120 array elision holes. new Set(FALLBACK_SOURCES.map((s) => s.value)) in the scan view then held undefined, and the company classifier’s id.length threw TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'length') on every page render (caught by logbuf on prod). The holes are removed and a new gate (4 specs, red-verified) executes the file and fails on any hole, unusable entry, or undefined in the adapter-id Set — the text-only drift gate could not see this class.
  • Blind vi language check (CAR-97): Vietnamese is Latin-script and had no entry in the live-QA stop-word table, so “vi stop words” counted English hits and a Vietnamese answer read as report not in vi (live regression: vi 2, en 2). Vietnamese now has its own ten-word function-word table — a pure-vi report passes, an English one still fails.
  • zh-TW lost the SCORE_SUMMARY block (CAR-98): the closing language reminder only said the machine format must not be translated, never that the summary block must exist — a short zh-TW report (5,983 chars) carried the A–G blocks but omitted the block entirely (a v1.239.2-class recurrence). The opening directive and the closing reminder now state the block is mandatory and the report is invalid without it.

Notes

  • This release deliberately does not change any scanner source, registry count (121 = 116 EN + 5 RU · 116 adapters), or provider wiring — it is fixes only, so the count gates are untouched.
  • Tests 5695 (+9: car99-fallback-holes ×4, car97-vi-lang-check ×4, the CAR-98 prompt invariant ×1). Browser 143/143. The vi/zh-TW live re-check rides the post-deploy regression.

[1.255.1] — 2026-10-24

Two review fix-rounds: the Opus review of the Vietnamese locale (9 findings) and the second-pass review of the CAR-91/92 fixes (5 must-fixes) — both closed with red→green tests.

Fixed

  • vi locale review round (CAR-88 follow-up): the Hangul glyph (신) that leaked into project.subtitle / project.roleHint is corrected (độ khớp tín hiệu), with a gate that fails any CJK/Kana glyph in a vi value the EN dict doesn’t carry; the six spaced markdown URLs in docs/help/vi.md (what-is career-ops, apply for a job, set up playwright and three more) are hyphenated to the real guide slugs, with a no-spaces-in-URLs gate.
  • Evaluation heading boundaries (CAR-92 r2 H1): &, ., /, ' are now word characters in the block-letter’s left boundary — ## Q&A, ## Plan B, ## Ph.D. requirement, ## E-commerce no longer register as blocks A/B/D/E; the bare end-of-line terminator is accepted only after a block-word token (Block/блок/블록/…); ASCII - left the spelled-terminator classes so E-commerce/ई-मेल headings survive.
  • Ukrainian/Russian-numbered reports (CAR-92 r2 H2): the А Б В Г Д Є Ж sequence detector is a shared helper now; when it finds 3+ sequence letters at a heading level, that level becomes the cutter’s reference level — lettered ### A. subsections no longer truncate the report at block Б.
  • Carried-row lifecycle (CAR-92 r2 M1): rows a failed source carries into the next scan are stamped carriedSince, dropped after 30 days or 5 consecutive carries, and appended after the fresh rows instead of silently re-accumulating forever.
  • Gemini synthesis denominator + legitimacy (CAR-92 r2 M2) and the subprocess body-score path (M3): read from the findings file, fixed with red tests.
  • Cold-load bundle drift gate updated for the vi dict (90 script tags / 87 bundlable) and its unused test binding removed (CodeQL 572).

Notes

  • The README.vi “Latest” banner adapter-count phrasing the review flagged lives in the Previous banner and already mirrors EN README byte-for-byte — deliberately not reworded, to keep EN↔vi parity (documented in the commit body). The vi/ta/cvstart localizations are not touched by this release; registry unchanged.

  • Scanner snapshot safety (R-12): a scan that attempts nothing now KEEPS the saved snapshot (nothing scanned) instead of wiping it; a full-replace carries over the failed sources’ old rows — stamped per entry so a failed “Lever” no longer keeps other companies’ lever-source rows — re-run through the CURRENT filters, landing in filtered only (an already-applied job never resurfaces as fresh).
  • Eleven LLM-layer invariants: the language directive now opens AND closes the deep/mode prompts; the Gemini subprocess forwards --lang, exits non-zero to a 502, stops leaking stderr, honours the 300 s timeout and records usage; the auto-pipeline manual fallback carries the posting URL; truncation and bundle warnings surface in /api/mode; the spend tier can no longer be overridden by the client; a client disconnect aborts the in-flight provider call (signal threaded through every provider); the repeated-heading cutter no longer destroys valid reports; the score and legitimacy extractors agree with the validator; the Ukrainian sequence and Arabic wa-aw false-accepts are tightened.

Two HIGH security findings from the max-model review are fixed: IPv6-literal URLs no longer bypass the scanner’s SSRF guard, and the CV-markdown escape regex no longer backtracks quadratically.

Fixed

  • IPv6 literals bypass the SSRF guard (http-json.mjs guardResolvedHost): a bracketed IPv6 literal ([::1], [::ffff:169.254.169.254], [fd00:ec2::254] — the AWS IPv6 metadata endpoint) made dns.lookup throw and the guard fail open, letting fetch reach cloud metadata. Bracketed hosts are now unbracketed, classified directly via isIP + the private/loopback classifier — no DNS, no fail-open. Found by the Opus 5-5 max-model sweep (CAR-90).
  • ReDoS in the CV-markdown escape regex (security.mjs stripDangerousMarkdown): the belt pattern’s \s*/?\s* backtracked quadratically — < + ~100k spaces cost ~16 s. Replaced with one flat bounded class \s|/ run (linear; the same input now ~1 ms); every opener the old pattern escaped still gets escaped.
  • tests/wiki-banner-check: the JA fixture’s stale version (a leftover from #461) is aligned.

Notes

  • The two fixes carry red→green regression tests (3 new IPv6-guard cases + a time-bounded ReDoS case; 5511 tests total, +7).
  • The scanner source files are not affected (the guard sits in the shared transport both scanners already route through).

  • role-matcher (#5688 port): titles differing only by a short capitalised code (“HR BP” vs “HR GP”, “AWS” vs “GCP”, even in mixed scripts) are no longer fuzzy-matched as the same opening; codes are read from the raw title with noise words excluded, and the guard sits right before the Jaccard ratio.
  • Survived a maximum-rigor Opus 5-5 review of the ports (21 findings): silent-empty-board throws on markup drift (google/bwi), pre-aborted scans throw instead of returning [], decode-then-strip ordering on the LATAM scrapers (the strip-then-decode XSS shape), https+allowlist on atlassian row URLs, port-rejecting host asserts, later-page parse inside the try (partials survive), and test-honesty fixes (budget counts asserted exactly, coerce contracts pinned truthfully). 13 findings fixed, the [spec] tail tracked separately.

Notes

  • The five RU sources remain web-ui-only (no upstream adapters — by design); every EN source has an adapter.
  • Coverage ratchet: the six largest port files raised to ≥95 % branch (27 new cases); the defensive-dead-code remainder is documented per file.
  • New sources are provider-selected (provider: <slug> in portals.yml) — existing configs are not affected, and no canonical behavior is changed beyond the dropdown/list counts.

[1.252.1] — 2026-10-17

The wiki’s release banner is now gated by a script instead of a hand-run sweep — the v1.252.0 regression caught it stale only by hand — and the locale directive explicitly overrides the profile’s language.output and the job posting’s language.

Added

  • scripts/wiki-banner-check.mjs — the release gate the regression asked for: it reads every Home*.md in a wiki checkout and compares the banner to package.json and to the LIVE registry counters (scanner adapters from the portals registry — 105, not the banner’s stale 109 — route modules from server/lib/routes/, UI locales from the CHANGELOG set). The banner regex is language-agnostic by SHAPE, not by words: the localized Home pages translate the label and the counters («Текущий релиз», «Aktuel udgivelse», «адаптеров сканера», «enhedstests») and their counts had drifted further (5177) than the EN page (5245). --tests N takes the count a fresh test:ci just printed; --check-only forbids the implicit clone for offline use. Fixture-tested offline in tests/wiki-banner-check.test.mjs.

Fixed

  • The wiki Home ×18 banner is brought back in sync (pushed with this release): the v1.252.0 sweep replaced badges and links but never the banner line, and nothing mechanical flagged it. The gate above makes that a release-blocking check.
  • The locale directive settles the language priority (buildLocaleDirective): “This UI locale overrides the profile’s language.output setting and the job posting’s own language.” The parent’s own rule 6 says to write in language.output — with no priority sentence the model resolved the two contradictory instructions inconsistently per locale, which is what the v1.252.0 language-column scatter was. Pinned by tests/locale-directive-language-output.test.mjs on the directive text (17 non-EN locales + EN-empty).

Notes

  • ta evaluate FORM observation (§3, watch): the first v1.252.0 live run produced a 48 336-character evaluate with no Block G and no SCORE_SUMMARY — looping-shaped, not language-shaped (CAR-70 is language). If it repeats on the next release, it gets its own Linear issue, separate from CAR-70.
  • Per the FIX-PROMPT: the parent stays read-only; the override lives entirely in the UI directive.

The parent fork is synced with career-ops-hq/career-ops — 264 upstream commits, parent 1.36.0 → 1.37.0 — with both fork divergences defended, and the deployment re-pins the running parent to that base.

  • Vietnamese (vi) market mode arrives from upstream (modes/vi/, tuyen-dung / ung-tuyen): BHXH/BHYT/BHTN, thử việc, lương tháng 13, trợ cấp thôi việc — the 21st declared market in the parent’s mode table.
  • Tech in Asia board provider (upstream): reads the public Algolia job_postings index the techinasia.com jobs UI itself queries — a SEA startup board, ~300 live postings at sampling, 273 of them Indonesian. Keys are discovered fresh per run from the site’s build, the employer’s own application link wins over the board page, and salary stays unattached (the index’s salary fields are flags, not money).

  • Parent-side hardening carried by the base bump: the story-provenance check now works by unit and sentence and keeps user-cannot-confirm figures out of negotiation, ATS and interview output; the CV fact-gate runs on every renderer and reads respelled and structured claims; LaTeX rejects stale extracted slots before writing; the follow-ups launchd sweep is skipped when follow-ups are off; update-system keeps its local-edits scan under the argv limit.
  • The fork’s divergences survived the merge: providers/telegram.mjs (fork-only parser, ADR-0001) and the Unicode lookaround LOCATIONISH_RE in telegram-channel.mjs (ADR-0002).   • The SPA ships no behavior change in this release: it is the docs train plus the parent re-pin. The deployment now runs parent 1.37.0; the parent delta does not touch the canonical-states table, so tracker statuses render exactly as before.
  • The upstream merge resolved two conflicts: docs/SUPPORTED_JOB_BOARDS.md (both telegram rows kept) and test-all.mjs (upstream’s walkTree-based copyDirSync subsumes the fork’s hand-rolled .git nested-checkout guard; the import list is the union).

The map’s specialization filter matches on DISTINCTIVE role words only — seniority and generic job nouns no longer match a posting by themselves — and remote-qa splits shape from language so a drift never red-marks A–G.

Fixed

  • The specialization filter drops seniority and generic job nouns from its matcher: «Senior PHP Developer» matched «Senior Java Developer» through the shared Senior/Developer. The matcher keeps only distinctive tokens (PHP, Go, Platform, SRE, Backend…); a role with no distinctive tokens left («Software Engineer») falls back to the whole-phrase match. Word boundaries stay: «Go» never matches «Golang» or «Google».
  • remote-qa separates shape from language: the A–G flag is now judged only by block/SCORE_SUMMARY/looping codes; a report not in <locale> drift moves to the language flag and its own warnings column (the table header gains the missing 4th column; the codes are stored per row).
  • The map toolbar is a true 50/50 at 390 px (the 58/42 flex split left the search field at 124 px and truncated its placeholder), and the dead .job-map-job-select CSS rule is gone.
  • CodeQL 552 — the unused OVERLAYS variable in the design-qa test removed.

Notes

  • Drive-time MILES remain deferred by the owner to the next release.
  • The ta evaluate language drift stays a DOCUMENTED backend limitation (hermes, prose share 2–26 % across runs; A–G holds, no looping): remote-qa now reports it as an expected finding for ta, not a regression. A two-step flow (English evaluation + translation pass) remains an option if the owner wants it.
  • The generic-token list is deliberately minimal (seniority + generic job nouns, en/ru): broadening it is one line per language, and every addition risks over-filtering a legitimate posting.

The map’s select now filters by SPECIALIZATION from the settings (config/profile.yml → target_roles.primary): pick «Product Manager» or «Backend Engineer (Go / PHP)» and the map keeps only the postings whose title matches that role’s own words. The v1.250.0 job-list locator is gone — it was the wrong lens (the owner’s correction).

Added

  • Specialization filter: the map’s select lists the specializations configured in the settings (target_roles.primary), and choosing one keeps only the postings whose title carries one of that role’s distinguishing tokens (word-bounded, case-insensitive — «Go» never matches «Google», Cyrillic works through the same Unicode lookarounds). Filter changes redraw the map and the status chip immediately; Reset returns to all specializations.

Changed

  • The v1.250.0 vacancy-list locator is removed: the owner’s correction — a select listing individual vacancies was the wrong lens for the map; the specialization filter replaces it. The peek cards, marker clicks and the text search stay as they are.

Notes

  • Drive-time MILES are deliberately NOT part of this release either — the owner already deferred them.
  • The specialization match is deliberately TITLE-ONLY (with the settings’ own words as tokens): matching against company names or descriptions would pull unrelated postings into a specialization.
